Technology:
JA-5 Type III are high performance servo balanced quartz accelerometers made by JAE. The integrated electronic circuitry enables an analog current output signal.
The accelerometers feature a resolution of less than 1 µg as well as an outstanding long-term stability of the scale factor (K1: 400 ppm) and bias (K0: 100-500 µg, depending on the classification).
Applications:
These accelerometers have been specifically designed to achieve inertial navigation grade performance. They are ideally suited for use in a variety of applications including seismic monitoring, inertial navigation and guidance systems for aviation/space.
Export regulation:
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, ASC GmbH is the authorized distributor of high performance quartz based acceleromedters from Japan Aviation Electronics. There is a general export license for this product which means no individual export license from Japanese government is needed.
