Our ASC inertial measurement units are based on three accelerometers and three gyroscopes that are integrated in a single housing. The modular concept allows us to adapt all IMUs to the exact requirements of your application. Whether the application requires accelerometers or gyroscopes, you can choose the right solution with the ideal measurement range – with full flexibility and at no extra charge.
The ASC IMU 8 features high bias stability (<0.1 °/h) and excellent angular random walk (<0.01 °/√h) leading to tactical grade performance. The low noise and excellent long-term stability ensure reliable measurement of position changes in all 6 degrees of freedom, with high repeatability. Analog signal output also gives users maximum data processing flexibility. The IMU 8 features measurement ranges of ±10 °/s , ±25 °/s , ±100 °/s, ±200 °/s and ±400 °/s for the gyroscopes and is ideal not only for high-precision position measuring, but also for bridging navigation in the case of a temporary failure of the GNSS signal.
The ASC IMU 7 likewise enables high-precision measurement of the position of objects. It features high bias stability (12 °/h) and low angular random walk (0.2 °/√h) leading to industrial grade performance. The ASC IMU 7 is available with accelerometers from the Low Noise and Medium Frequency series, with measurement ranges from ±2 g to ±50 g for the integrated accelerometers and measuring ranges of 75 °/s, 150 °/s, 300 °/s or 900 °/s for the gyroscopes.
