ASC 61C1
Uniaxial, piezoresistive
Measurement range: ±500 to ±2000 g
Housing: Aluminum | 3 gram
Shock and impact measurements with very high accelerations from ±500 g to ±6,000 g are best achieved with sensors that operate on the basis of the piezoresistive principle. For this purpose, four variable resistors manufactured using MEMS technology are configured as a Wheatstone bridge. This causes a change in the analog voltage output signal proportional to the input acceleration.
Furthermore, this technology also enables the measurement of static or constant accelerations within a frequency response range from DC to 4 kHz – essential in crash test applications such as side and head-on collision tests in the automotive sector.
The sensors are fabricated in lightweight aluminum housings and are available in both uniaxial and triaxial versions. As an additional feature we will be glad to offer you a custom configuration with TEDS and EQX data.
Our product filter offers a fast and easy way for you to find the right sensor solution for your application.
