ASC 5411LN
Triaxial, capacitive
Measurement range: ±2 to ±400 g
Noise density: 7 to 400 µg/√Hz
Frequency range (±5 %): DC to 2000 Hz
Instead of the previous maximum frequency range of 0 Hz (DC response) to 1 kHz all Low Noise accelerometers (±2 g to ± 400 g) now have an expanded frequency response range of up to 2 kHz (±5 %) or up to 4.2 kHz (±3 dB).
This represents an improvement in the frequency range of sensors in the low-g range of up to a factor of 4 – for example for the measuring range of ±2 g to 250 Hz and for the measuring range of ±5 g to 400 Hz instead of the previous 100 Hz. This modification is especially useful for applications that measure comfort and dynamic behavior of motor vehicles.
The expanded frequency range has substantially enlarged the application spectrum for sensors with smaller measurement ranges. All other parameters and interfaces of the Low Noise sensors remain unchanged, so that the sensors can be used in the same manner as before.
