Technology:
The inertial measurement unit (IMU) JCS-7603 is based on industry leading high performance MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers. Configuration and operation of the IMUs is supported via the standard RS-232 or RS-422 digital interfaces.
The IMUs feature gyro bias stability of <0.1 °/h, angular random walk of <0.02 °/√h while the integrated accelerometers are achieving a bias stability of 15 µg. An optional embedded GPS receiver is available on request.
Applications:
The JCS-7603 is used in many applications, including commercial aviation motion control&sensing, UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) or UUVs (unmanned underwater vehicles).
Distribution/Regulation:
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, ASC GmbH is the authorized distributor of high performance IMUs from Japan Aviation Electronics. There is a general export license for this product which means no individual export license from Japanese government is needed.
