Technology:
The JIMS-80S is a compact and light weight MEMS (micro electro mechanical system) based inertial measurement unit (IMU). Configuration and operation of the IMUs is supported via the standard RS-232 or CAN digital interfaces.
The IMUs feature a robust and dustproof housing including protection class IP67.
Applications:
The JIMS-80S is used in many applications, including agriculture (precision farming), industrial plants, robotics as well as for stabilizing platforms, cameras or antennas.
Distribution/Regulation:
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, ASC GmbH is the authorized distributor of high performance IMUs from Japan Aviation Electronics. There is a general export license for this product which means no individual export license from Japanese government is needed.
