ASC 271
Uniaxial, Industrial Grade
Measurement range: 75 °/s to 900 °/s
Bias stability: 12 °/h
Angular random walk: 0.2 °/√h
Growing freight volumes and tighter turnaround times are putting port logistics under pressure. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are increasingly taking over container transport across terminals – enabling efficient, scalable and highly automated flows of goods.
However, autonomous movement in a busy harbor environment demands one thing above all: precision.
The ASC 271 uniaxial MEMS gyroscope provides accurate angular-rate data to support reliable AGV navigation and motion control. With selectable measurement ranges from ±75 to ±900 °/s, low noise, shock resistance up to 500 g and a robust IP65 aluminum housing, it is engineered to perform reliably even under the vibrations, shocks and changing conditions typical of industrial port operations.
Precise inertial data helps AGVs maintain stable orientation, negotiate curves at optimal speeds and follow their intended trajectories – supporting smoother workflows and greater operational efficiency across the terminal.
As ports become smarter, reliable automation starts with reliable motion data.
