ASC IMU 7-MF
6 DOF, modular concept
Acceleration: ±2 to ±50 g
Angular rates: 75 °/s to 900 °/s
Output signal: Analog | Voltage
Electric vehicles are not simply combustion-engine vehicles with a different power source. Their drivetrain architecture creates new challenges for vehicle dynamics, NVH analysis, comfort and efficiency.
With fewer gear stages, e-vehicles experience reduced friction and vibration damping. This makes it particularly important to understand vibrations resulting from torque changes and braking interventions, external excitation from uneven roads and potholes as well as complex torsional vibration phenomena.
This is where the ASC IMU 7 becomes a powerful engineering toolbox. Its modular concept combines three accelerometers and three gyroscopes in a compact 6-DOF measurement system, enabling simultaneous measurement of linear acceleration and angular rates. Individually configurable measurement ranges allow the IMU to be precisely adapted to diverse vehicle development requirements.
The result? Deeper insight into vehicle behavior, optimized driving dynamics, greater comfort and more efficient e-vehicle operation.
