Hyperloop – innovative transport solutions

Underwater Hyperloop: when future mobility meets sensor precision

Imagine transporting people and goods at extraordinary speeds through tubes beneath the sea. For underwater Hyperloop concepts, however, innovation comes with a unique engineering challenge: How will the structure respond to the constant forces of the ocean?

Precise measurement data is essential to finding the answer.

In a model of an underwater Hyperloop system, the laser-welded ASC OS-315LN-PG triaxial accelerometer was used to measure the effects of waves on the tunnel tube. Its high-precision, low-noise measurement data empowered engineers to analyze structural responses under realistic maritime conditions – providing valuable input for the successful development of the undersea transport project.

It’s an application that demonstrates how advanced inertial sensor technology can enable entirely new mobility concepts. From next-generation ships and autonomous maritime systems to futuristic subsea infrastructure, precision, stability and robustness are critical wherever motion and extreme environments meet.

Tomorrow’s transport solutions need measurement technology that is ready today.
