Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA) gives automotive engineers something laboratory testing alone cannot fully replicate: a detailed picture of the loads vehicles experience under real-world road and operating conditions.

As those conditions can differ drastically across global markets and diverse settings. From smooth highways to potholes, rough surfaces and demanding terrain, local infrastructure creates very different stresses on chassis, body and vehicle components.

ASC OS-325MF-PG and ASC 5525MF high-precision capacitive accelerometers help manufacturers capture these loads accurately during test drives. Installed on the chassis or vehicle body, they provide exact measurement data for durability analysis and vehicle optimization.

The robust triaxial ASC 5525MF, for example, has been designed for demanding test environments. It features measurement ranges from ±2 g to ±200 g and reliable performance even under repetitive shock loads and challenging climatic conditions.
