Resolution: 1 µg
Stability: K1: 1200 ppm | K0: 1.2 mg
Building a new high-speed rail link is about far more than laying track. Every bridge and viaduct must perform flawlessly under decades of dynamic loading – making structural health monitoring a critical part of the infrastructure itself.
On a 2.1-mile UK railway viaduct, a key element of a new high-speed rail corridor, ASC QBA quartz accelerometers are helping engineers monitor the structure under extreme operational loads. Installed at defined measuring points across deck segments and noise barriers, they continuously capture even the smallest structural movements to verify stability, safety and long-term performance.
Developed specifically for this project, the ASC QBA series combines servo-balanced quartz sensing technology with exceptional long-term stability, providing the precision required for the most demanding structural health monitoring applications.
The outcome is more than measurement data – it’s the foundation for predictive maintenance, greater infrastructure resilience and reliable high-speed rail capacity and operations.
When tomorrow’s rail networks demand extraordinary performance, every vibration becomes valuable information.
Bring your next bridge or infrastructure monitoring challenge to us and explore what high-precision quartz sensing can do for you.
