Creating an accurate 3D model of complex environments requires more than cameras and laser scanners. A mobile robotic platform must know exactly how it is moving and where every measurement belongs in space.

Inertial ASC sensor technology enables this innovative approach to sophisticated mapping of exterior and interior environments.

For multisensor robotic platforms used in high-precision 3D surveying, the ASC IMU 7 captures acceleration and angular rate across all six degrees of freedom, providing reliable motion data for dynamic measurement tasks. For applications demanding even greater accuracy, the tactical-grade ASC IMU 8 combines low noise and excellent long-term stability with gyroscope bias stability of <0.1°/h, supporting highly precise positioning and navigation.

ASC DiSens ECO digital accelerometers complement the system with flexible CAN interface and integrated filtering, simplifying the incorporation of high-quality acceleration data into connected measurement architectures.

The resulting precise localization, better sensor fusion and highly accurate 3D data help turn mobile robotics into powerful surveying tools.
