From microgravity experiments to advanced navigation research, scientists often need to capture movements so small that even minimal sensor drift or noise can influence the results.

That’s where tactical-grade inertial measurement technology from ASC comes in.

The ASC EQ series of ultra-low-noise accelerometers is designed to capture extremely small accelerations with exceptional resolution – making it ideal for research applications where every micro-g matters.

For applications requiring complete motion analysis, the ASC IMU 8 combines high-precision triaxial accelerometers with tactical-grade triaxial gyroscopes in a compact 6-DOF unit. With gyroscope bias stability of <0.1°/h, it enables highly accurate measurement of both linear and rotational motion – critical when sensor data is integrated to determine orientation, angles or position over time.

The benefit for researchers? High-end inertial sensor performance without requiring more expensive technologies such as fiber-optic gyroscopes.
