JA-5 Type IIIAccelerometer

Technology:
JA-5 Type III are high performance servo balanced quartz accelerometers made by JAE. The integrated electronic circuitry enables an analog current output signal.

The accelerometers feature a resolution of less than 1 µg as well as an outstanding long-term stability of the scale factor (K1: 400 ppm) and bias (K0: 100-500 µg, depending on the classification).

Applications:
These accelerometers have been specifically designed to achieve inertial navigation grade performance. They are ideally suited for use in a variety of applications including seismic monitoring, inertial navigation and guidance systems for aviation/space.

Export regulation:
In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, ASC GmbH is the authorized distributor of high performance quartz based accelerometers from Japan Aviation Electronics. Accelerometers must only be exported in accordance with all relevant regulations. Export license from Japanese government is needed and an end use statement is required.
