FUTURESES H68CAccelerometer
Product Information
- Sensor technology: Piezoresistive
- Number of sensitive directions: Triaxial
- Output signal: Voltage
- Measurement range [g]: 500, 2000
Technology:
These piezoresistive accelerometers are based proven MEMS technology, in which four variable resistors are configured as a Wheatstone bridge.
The triaxial FUTURESES H68C features a wide dynamic range from 0 Hz to 7 kHz and outstanding impact resistance up to 10,000 g. In addition, the lightweight design allows its use in applications where the mass load of the test structures has to be minimized.
Housing:
There are various configuration options for the accelerometers. These include the length of the integrated cable, cable switches, connectors as well as the integration of Dallas DS2401 chips.
Applications:
The Model H68C is a miniaturized triaxial accelerometer designed for crash tests where minimal weight and a wide frequency range are critical. The sensor meets SAE J211 specifications for impact test instrumentation as well as the SAE J2570 specification for sensors used in crash test dummies (Anthropomorphic Test Devices, ATDs).
- Temperature: -20°C to +85°C
