On construction sites, equipment is exposed to constant vibration, heavy impacts, dust, moisture and other demanding operating conditions. Even small deviations from normal behavior can be an early warning sign of component wear or damage.

Condition monitoring with ASC inertial sensors helps make these changes visible – creating the foundation for predictive maintenance and helping operators avoid costly, unplanned downtime.

Capacitive accelerometers from the robust ASC OS series are particularly suited to demanding construction applications. For example, they monitor hydraulic vibrators used in piling and soil-compaction operations by precisely recording vibration frequency and amplitude. Changes in the frequency response can indicate potential damage to piling equipment before an expensive failure occurs.

Built for harsh environments, ASC OS accelerometers feature hermetically sealed stainless-steel housing with IP68 protection. The series is available in Low Noise (LN) and Medium Frequency (MF) variants as well as uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial configurations.
