JAE’s JIMS-80S, available through ASC, is ideally suited to these demanding tasks. The compact, lightweight 6-DOF MEMS inertial measurement unit combines three accelerometers and three gyroscopes to provide real-time data on acceleration, angular rate, roll and pitch. With digital CAN and RS-232 interfaces, a robust IP67 housing and technology derived from JAE’s aerospace expertise, it is designed for reliable integration into ships and other advanced mobility systems.
